Had an Easter break here and it was a real treat. The lodge was clean and well-equipped, with everything we needed for cooking meals. The location was peaceful and allowed for easy access to nearby attractions. The welcome pack of essentials was a nice touch and the owners were friendly and welcoming. The surrounding area offered beautiful walks and there were plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. Our puppy also had a great time here. Would definitely stay again.
The muddy paths, which made it difficult to get around without wellies. It would have been helpful if the owners had warned us about this, especially considering the wet weather during February.

Second time staying here and it's just as fantastic as last year. Super helpful and friendly host. House is clean, well equipped. Bonus to have milk, fresh bread, tea/coffee on arrival. Perfect for relaxing. Good location for accessing Cotswolds, with a nearby supermarket. Glad we discovered this gem, with easy communication and thoughtful provisions. Stunning lodge and location, with activities for all ages. Enjoyed on-site dining and beautiful views from lodge's decking. Fantastic holiday, will definitely return. Highly recommend.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at Medway Lodge, enjoying the beautiful lake view and allocated parking. The lodge was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and had great wifi. The well-lit stairs were perfect for our elderly grandparent. Communication with the host was excellent, and we appreciated the thoughtful provisions. The location offered a wealth of activities, with water sports onsite. The onsite brasserie was a hit, and the decking and BBQ area provided a stunning backdrop. We're excited to return in better weather for breakfast on the deck.
Would recommend this hotel.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with a picturesque lake right outside. It was such a delight to wake up to that view every morning. the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive. Any issues we had were promptly addressed and they even left a thoughtful gesture of a cake and card when there was a minor inconvenience.
The paths around the property were quite muddy and it would have been helpful if the hotel had provided wellies or at least given a heads up about the conditions. It made it a bit challenging to explore the surrounding area without proper footwear.

Our recent stay at Medway Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The location was peaceful and the views of the lake were breathtaking. The lodge itself was immaculate, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the welcome hamper filled with essentials like orange juice, bread, butter, milk, and biscuits. It made us feel instantly at home. The lodge had everything we needed, including good wifi and well-lit stairs, which was important for our elderly grandparent. We can't wait to return, hopefully when the weather is better so we can enjoy breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake. I highly recommend Medway Lodge for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Fabulous base to explore the area. Enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a getaway. the lodge was clean, cosy, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. the view of the lake was a definite highlight. the welcome pack of provisions was a nice touch. Conveniently located near restaurants and great for exploring the Cotswolds.
Water pressure and temperature in the showers were temperamental, which made for a slightly frustrating experience. the paths around the lodge were quite muddy during my stay in February, so it would have been helpful to have wellies.

The lodge had great views and the location was peaceful. the host was friendly and helpful, showing us how to use the cozy fire. the house was well-equipped and clean. It was easy to reach nearby places and there were provisions provided on arrival.
I did not enjoy the water sports on-site. the lodge did not provide enough entertainment options, especially for families.

We got amazing value for our money at Medway Lodge! The room was fantastic, beautifully furnished and immaculate. The location was stunning, with a beautiful view of the lake, and there were plenty of lovely places to visit nearby. The staff treated us wonderfully, making everything super easy and providing a yummy welcome pack. We can't wait to return!
The only suggestion for improvement would be to offer a wider breakfast selection.
